Recently, former cricketer Gautam Gambhir, who joined BJP, on Tuesday indirectly advised the leader of the National Conference (NC) and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to let him go to Pakistan.
@OmarAbdullah wants a separate PM for J&K & I want to walk on oceans! @OmarAbdullah wants a separate PM for J&K & I want pigs to fly! More than a separate PM @OmarAbdullah needs some sleep followed by a strong coffee! If he still doesn’t understand then a green Pakistani passport— Gautam Gambhir (@GautamGambhir) April 2, 2019
Gambhir made this comment on Omar’s statement in which the NC leader had said that his party would try to restore the autonomy of Jammu and Kashmir and there could once again be ‘Wazir-e-Azam’ (Prime Minister).
Former cricketer tweeted that Omar Abdullah wants a separate Prime Minister for Jammu and Kashmir and I want to walk on the ocean. Omar Abdullah wants separate Prime Minister for Jammu and Kashmir and I want the pigs to fly. He said that Umar needed ‘a little sleep and a hard coffee’ and if he still could not understand then he would need ‘green Pakistani passport’
Umar tweeted the BJP leader, “Gautam, I have never played much cricket because I knew I was not very good in this matter. You do not know much about the role of the National Conference in shaping Jammu and Kashmir, its history or history, yet you are intent on showing your ignorance to everyone.
Gautam,I never played much cricket because I knew I wasn’t very good at it. You don’t know very much about J&K,it’s history or the role of @jknc_ in shaping that history yet you insist on displaying that ignorance for all to see. Stick to stuff you know about, tweet about the IPL https://t.co/2ZSHJclWkt— Omar Abdullah (@OmarAbdullah) April 2, 2019
He said that Gambhir should focus only on those who know him and tweet about the Indian Premier League (IPL).
While addressing a public meeting in Bandipura, North Kashmir, the former Chief Minister had said that Jammu and Kashmir’s involvement in the Indian Union had been achieved when several constitutional measures were taken for the state and if they had any tampering, The questions on the entire process of joining Kashmir will be questioned.
He also said that his party would try to restore the posts of Sadar-e-Riyasat (President) and Wazir-e-Azam (Prime Minister) in Jammu and Kashmir.
