New Delhi : MG Motor India said on Sunday that it retailed 2,018 vehicles in August. The company sold 1,508 units in July this year. MG Motor India Chief Commercial Officer Gaurav Gupta said in the statement, “As part of our commitment to fully satisfy customers, our focus is primarily on completing 28,000 bookings.”
Gaurav Gupta said that customer enthusiasm for the company’s SUV Hector remained as 11,000 people registered for the waiting list after the booking was temporarily halted in July. Gupta said, “We are working closely with our global and local suppliers to increase the production of Hector.” Once production increases, the company will decide to resume the booking.
