In addition to making your life happy in bed, new research studies have concluded that low levels of “T” or testosterone can potentially increase the risk of prostate cancer, heart disease and other fatal diseases. The idea is to increase your T levels so you can have a healthy sex life and at the same time reduce the risks of various life threatening diseases. It is not always easy to reach, but the rewards are plentiful.

1. Get good Abs

The level of testosterone in your body is inversely proportional to the size of your waist. This means that an increase in your waist will decrease the levels of T in your body. The abdominals not only look impressive, but also help increase the levels of T in your body. Therefore, keep track of your diet and training to achieve a slim waistline and perfect abs.

2. Build Biceps

A recent study suggests that men who regularly lift weights have a 49% chance of increasing their free testosterone levels. As you strengthen your muscles, the amount of testosterone your body produces increases, therefore, the idea is to exercise regularly to develop the biceps and get more resistance and sexual energy.

3. Eat a Little Fat

Excluding the fat from your diet to achieve the desired lean and medium body is something everyone is testing. Wait a minute and read this! A recent study revealed that men who consumed more fat also had the highest levels of T. Well, you would not want to gain weight and add other potential health risks associated with fat and obesity to liven up your sex life. But what you can do is start eating foods like nuts and fish high in monounsaturated fats.

4. Stay Away from the House Bar

Happy hours in the bar are not so happy for your T levels. The same goes for your daily drinking session in homes. A recent study suggested that moderate drinkers who drank daily for 3 weeks experienced a drop of about 7% in their T levels. Therefore, changing from being a regular to a social drinker is not so bad.

5. Stay Stress-free

Either by mental or physical stress, it can easily hinder the percentage of T levels in your system. As stress causes cortisol to increase, this in turn reduces the body’s ability to produce testosterone. Therefore, you must do whatever it takes to stay as stress free as possible. Cardio and yoga are well-known ways to reduce your stress levels. Be careful not to exaggerate the physical activities that can cause injuries, since injuries and fatigue are more likely to lower your T levels than to increase them.
